Hey there! Welcome to my website, I’m so glad you’re here!
I was born in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii and spent most of my childhood searching for sea creatures in the tide pools of the Pacific Ocean. My family and I practically lived at the beach until I was eight years old. When I wasn’t at the beach, I was chasing roosters around my grandma’s Kona coffee farm and watching my parents pack coffee beans into large burlap bags to be shipped off to the Philippines.
Then came the moving. We moved so much that the houses, neighborhoods, and people that I met along the way are all a blur to me now. There was no specific reason for the frequent moving. My family was like a band of gypsies that never quite settled anywhere. By the time I turned eighteen I lived in Hawaii, Alaska, Arizona, California, Maryland, Idaho, Nevada, and New York (and countless towns & homes in each of those states!)
I’m in my thirties now and have never quite “kicked” my gypsy tendencies (nor would I want to!) I’ve lived in the rolling country hills of Western New York for the past 16 years, traveling and exploring whenever I can. When I’m not working my 9-5 job (yawn) I’m researching, planning, and dreaming of my next adventure! My gypsy soul never rests. It keeps me up late into the night dreaming of the next place that I want to explore or the next adventure that I want to chase down.
